Pedigree

From infancy Mia has shown a fearless nature and a strong athletic drive, both qualities Joe believed would translate into success in the agility ring. “Miss Mia” has not disappointed, earning both of her Open level agility titles by age two. In keeping with her versatile nature Mia has also been introduced to such non-traditional sports as frisbee and dock diving, for which she has proven to be a strong competitor.

Anxious to expose Mia to more instinctual activities, Joe entered her in a NAVHDA Natural Ability test as a young pup, where, without ever having previously seen a bird, she qualified with rave reviews from the judges. With limited opportunity for fieldwork thereafter, Mia continued on and earned her Junior Hunter title, scoring perfect 10's in every category in one test!

She earned her show Championship by age two, has her novice obedience title and earned her tracking dog title in a blistering four minutes. Mia also has a sideline career as a model, with lots of photo shoots to her credit in both print and film, including work on television commercials, magazine advertisements and a short film with tennis professional Maria Sharapova for Motorola.

Pedigree

After only a handful of encounters with birds, Jacy easily earned his WCA Shooting Dog rating at just 13 months. Jacy has won an Amateur Derby field trial stake, placed third in a all-breed Derby and placed 4th in very tough competition at the WCA Western Derby Classic.

In addition to his more 'manly' outdoor pursuits, Jacy has also proved himself to be an official 'pretty boy' by having earned his AKC Show Championship in short order with three majors to his credit.

In addition to field and show, Jacy has proven to be quite the obedience dog, earning his CD in one weekend with four first place finishes.

Jacy is an instinctive tracker and he is currently preparing for both TDX and VST tracking tests. He is a natural born climber and jumper who occasionally exhibits his fearless nature by vaulting into cars via open windows. Indeed, he leaves little doubt that he is also destined to become a great agility dog someday. 

Jacy is a delight to live with and train. He is undoubtedly the best cuddler in the household and he loves having his belly rubbed. While he is all hugs and kisses when not competing, He exhibits a wonderful work ethic that enables him to eagerly tackle any job presented to him.
