Pedigree

Kate earned 2 points in the breed ring when she took Winner’s bitch and Best of Opposite Sex at Linn County Kennel Club, February 2008, with handler Leslie Like. Additionally, Kate made her debut in field trialing over the winter, and earned an Award of Merit in the Futurity class at the Western Classic in Sunnyside, WA also under handler Leslie Like. In April, 2008 Kate earned a Prize I in the NAVHDA Natural Ability test.

Currently, Kate is working on tracking, obedience, and field work. She approaches each activity with lots of enthusiasm and she loves “having a job.” When it comes to field work, she absolutely loves working birds.

When not training, Kate enjoys hiking with her person Grace Anne and playing with the other dogs (and people) she meets along the way. She is known to be the “life of the party” at the local doggie hiking area.
